7.SUCCEEDING ACTIVITIES

7.1.CONSULTATION PROGRAM

While the draft report is essentially the result of consultation between key stakeholder groups, the assessment will be issued as a draft so that all members of the public may consider and make representations on the proposed outcomes of the negotiations before the interim assessment is finalised.

Copies of the draft report are available through the Resource and Conservation Assessment Council Secretariat and you can view copies of the report and maps at State Forests of NSW and National Parks and Wildlife Service offices.

A summary brochure with questions and answers is also available from the Secretariat.

Members of the public are also invited to consultation sessions where there will be a briefing on the interim assessment and at which the community will be invited to respond to the proposed outcomes.

These consultation sessions will be held at the following sites:

Anyone wishing to attend these sessions can contact the Secretariat for more information. Registration by fax (registration forms are distributed with the draft report) or by phoning the RACAC Secretariat would be appreciated.

If you do not wish to attend the consultations, written submissions, addressed to the Secretariat, are invited.
